Henna Viljanen appointed as ISSF Academy coordinator

ISSF Academy is delighted to welcome Finnish athlete Henna Viljanen as its new coordinator.

She will support the smooth execution of courses, assisting with certificate preparation and handling administrative tasks related to training programmes as part of her role.

Viljanen’s tasks also include preparing training materials to support courses and ensure that participants have access to high-quality learning resources.

In addition, she will oversee any practical arrangements between participants and trainers so training sessions run efficiently and as a result, making the ISSF Academy run smoother.

“I am a rifle shooter who trains and competes with determination toward my dream – the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games,” said Viljanen.

“Sports are my passion and way of life, which is reflected in my daily routine and work alongside my athletic career.

“I have eight years of experience in the sports and fitness industry.

“This week I started as a coordinator at the ISSF Academy and I am excited to contribute to the development of the Academy’s offerings.”

The Finn brings years of hands-on experience to the role, being part of the ISSF World Cup circuit since 2018.
