Terms and conditions of ISSF Academy courses

The ISSF Academy course will be delivered online unless clearly explained in course description on the ISSF Academy website that it is either a hybrid or a local onsite course. Online course participation requires an internet connection and a suitable terminal device. A successful completion of the course requires active participation and completion of the given tasks.

The cost, starting date and duration of the course are shown on the ISSF Academy website. ISSF Academy will provide other necessary information to a course participant when he/she is selected to the course. It is the participant’s responsibility to read the course information email. Before confirming to the course in the form of paying the course fee. When the course is hybrid or fully local, the course fee covers the local costs, not the individual travel and travel related costs. The course will be assessed on a continuous evaluation basis.

The course fee must be fully paid before the course starting date. The course fee for a missed course is non-refundable.

The coach’s National Shooting Federation needs to approve the ISSF coaching licence issued after D, C, B or A course. It is the coach’s responsibility to inform their National Shooting Federation that he/she is doing an ISSF Academy course to be granted an ISSF license at the end of a successfully completed course.

ISSF Academy reserves the right to postpone a course to a later date if there are not enough participants to form a reasonable size course.

It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they’re a fit and proper person to act as a shooting sports coach. He/she is responsible that they have no personal history that would prevent them from obtaining a coaching licence.

The coaching academy is not responsible for any local damage caused during the course.
